Potential Hampering Ideas

A branch off of an earlier post "Potential Hampering Activities", Potential hampering ideas can be even more influential in keeping one from achieving what they are naturally capable of doing. For someone to reach their full potential they often must go beyond the limitations their mind creates. "I'm too tired" "Ill never be able to get where I want", "I'm not smart enough", these are just a few small examples of the limitations that minds create and people fall victim to.The worst thing about these ideas however is that you believe them. These ideas limit peoples success by telling them they are not capable of doing something that they really are.
Where I am going with this post is that if you think you have an idea that will help you achieve what you are after, run with it. Do not be afraid of failure. Do not stop when people tell you it is a stupid idea, because if it is truly a good idea, you will here that it is stupid many times. And finally, believe in yourself, because if you do not believe in yourself, why would anyone else want to believe in you?

Think about the person who first came up with the idea of the railroad. That guy must have been told his idea was stupid a million times.

Thomas Edison tried over 2000 times before finally creating a working light-bulb.
